Since 2021, the Keelung City Cultural Affairs Bureau has been converting the first to third floors of the Keelung Cultural Center into the Keelung Art Museum. Located near the Keelung National Gate Plaza, it aims to become a premier arts and cultural venue for tourists and residents of Keelung. As Keelung's first art museum, it aspires to be a "port" of art, attracting outstanding domestic and international art exhibitions and nurturing local artistic talent and works. The museum will serve as a space for the exchange of aesthetic energy, integrating art into daily life. Through accessible and enjoyable experiences, visitors will feel as if they are entering a beautiful playground, absorbing and engaging with art in their daily lives, allowing international visitors to connect more closely with this unique and beloved city.
