"Wangyou Valley," also known as "Forget-Worries Valley," is named for its lush green valley overlooking the surrounding landscape, a place where one can "forget" all worries. Located below the Badouzi Seaside Park viewing platform, it's a verdant valley that transforms into a creamy-brown landscape in spring and summer. Wangyou Valley is a V-shaped valley, featuring not only verdant meadows but also fishing boats coming and going from Badouzi Fishing Port, and distant views of Keelung Island across the sea. At night, the twinkling lights of fishing boats on the sea and the lights of Jiufen create a beautiful scene of mountains and sea. Several stone-paved trails lead to the beach, where visitors can enjoy geological landscapes such as tofu rocks and sea-eroded formations. They can also catch crabs and collect shellfish, experiencing what it's like to be a fisherman for a day.
