Keelung Municipal Stadium

Completed and opened in December 1981, the stadium is located at No. 40-1, Xin'er Road, Xinyi District, Taipei City. It can accommodate 8,000 spectators and has a court area of 1,204 square meters, making it the only large-scale indoor multi-purpose sports stadium in the city. In addition to providing facilities for basketball, volleyball, badminton, and table tennis competitions and practice, it also includes rooms for taekwondo/judo/wrestling, aikido, bodybuilding, rhythmic gymnastics, and ballroom dancing, as well as a resource room/sports film screening room and equipment room for schools and sports groups. The stadium actively cooperates with central and city government agencies, the Taipei Sports Association, schools at all levels, and community organizations to organize national large-scale events, city-level sports competitions, inter-school selection trials, and summer basketball, badminton, and judo training camps. Currently, efforts are underway to improve the stadium environment. New scoreboards and basketball hoops have been installed, and the air conditioning renovation project has been contracted out. Upon completion, it is hoped that the stadium will be able to host large-scale competitions.
