Eagle Carnival

The "Keelung Ocean Eagle Carnival" combines marine conservation concepts with artistic creation. In addition to transforming Keelung into a marine city full of artistic atmosphere and humanistic spirit, it also brings a joyful atmosphere, allowing everyone to get close to, accept, and understand art in their daily lives. The public can also experience the unique charm of Keelung's summer by participating in the Keelung Ocean Eagle Carnival parade, interacting closely with the parade participants without restraint, and letting everyone revel in the joy and emotion of the city with the sound of samba drums, overflowing with the passion of summer.

In addition to the diverse and vibrant parade formations, community residents created themed props by hand, drawing inspiration from marine elements, ecological features, and local beliefs. Using materials such as bamboo and paper, they crafted props including eagles, dolphins, mermaids, Formosan blue magpies, and the Earth God, along with matching costumes. These parade props were not merely works of art, but also symbols of the connections that community members made together through creating these pieces.
