Nuannuan Water Park

Nuannuan Water Park, located along the Nuannuan River in Keelung, was built as part of the Keelung River Improvement Project, which improved the tributary bank protection. The park utilizes the existing low-water bank protection along the lower reaches of the Nuannuan River and was constructed using ecological engineering methods. The park is four kilometers long and includes recreational spaces for residents and biodiversity habitats. Along the way, visitors can enjoy the scenery along the Nuannuan River and the natural ecological landscape of the affiliated tourist areas such as Nuandong Canyon.
Nuannuan Water Park is located in the lower reaches of Nuannuan Creek, approximately between Shuanglong Bridge and Shuiyuan Bridge. Stretching about four kilometers, it's a linear water park built utilizing the riverbank terrain. From Shuiyuan Bridge, you can see the words "Nuannuan Water Park" in large characters and artistic stone pillars. The park features a water play area with fountains and wading areas, as well as a blue suspension bridge spanning the creek. Children's play facilities are located under the bridge, making it a very attractive and newly popular leisure destination in Nuannuan.
In addition to spacious leisure areas, the waterfront park also features numerous benches for resting, enjoying the scenery, or chatting, as well as walkways and boardwalks for visitors to stroll along. Furthermore, the fountain's water jets, sometimes soaring and sometimes plunging, instantly bring the Nuannuan Waterfront Park to life. The water play area is open daily from 3 PM to 6 PM during the summer holidays, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 3 PM to 6 PM, allowing children and visitors to enjoy water activities without having to travel all the way to Dongshan River in Yilan. The Nuannuan Waterfront Park provides the public and tourists with a beautiful and well-equipped waterfront space.
