Wai Mu Shan Coastal Avenue

Every weekend, the famous Wai-mu-shan Lover's Lake Coastal Boulevard in Keelung attracts a large number of tourists. In addition to enjoying the panoramic sea and sky views, gazing at Keelung Island, and watching large ships enter the harbor, there are also many seafood restaurants and cafes along the way. The famous lobster mochi and the shark smoke at the weekend fish market are not to be missed, making it a great place for a day trip for the whole family.
Wai-mu-shan Coast is the longest remaining natural coastline in Keelung City. The 5-kilometer-long coastal road from Wai-mu-shan Fishing Port to Ao-di-tong Village was originally an industrial road in An-zhong. With an open coastal landscape on one side and a towering single-sided cliff on the other, it is a coastline with beautiful scenery. After being planned and designed by the Keelung City Government as a tourist and leisure road, it was officially named Lover's Lake Coastal Boulevard.
The completed Lover's Lake Coastal Boulevard boasts stunning scenery along its route. Besides offering panoramic views of the sea and sky, and gazing at Keelung Island and watching large ships enter the harbor, it's also a great place for leisure and hiking. At night, the twinkling lights of fishing boats on the sea attract many tourists. The Keelung City Government has also built several viewing platforms here. Sitting on the shore, listening to the sound of the waves, and admiring the magnificent sunset is truly invigorating. The coastal reefs, sculpted by the sea over the years, have created unique shapes that are worth exploring and appreciating.
In addition, near Wai Muk Shan Fishing Port, there is a small tourist holiday fish market and swimming facilities set up by the Early Swimming Club, providing swimming or snorkeling opportunities for those with better swimming skills. The beach in Ao Di Fishing Village is the only remaining sandy beach, small but beautiful. In addition to the famous lobster mochi and shark smoke at the holiday fish market, where long queues are often seen, there are also many seafood restaurants and cafes along the way, making it a great place for families, young people, couples and others to visit.
