The Keelung Story House, originally located on the first floor of the Keelung Cultural Center, was formerly a local cultural relics museum established in 1980. The revitalized story house adopted a "three-in-one" spatial theme, combining "Stories of the Coal City" with the "Keelung New Homeland Construction Resource Center" and the "Urban Roaming Information Hub," extending the cultural center's functions of display, collection, and education to every corner of the city. In December 2024, it moved to the M floor of the Keelung Museum of Fine Arts. The redesigned Keelung Story House features a permanent exhibition centered on Keelung, divided into three main sections: "From Fishing Harbor to Harbor City," "Post-War Recovery to Prosperity," and "International Tourism to a Century of Navigation." Through a ship cabin corridor display, it evokes the first impressions of Keelung for travelers from different eras. The exhibition will cover the period from the 1990s to 2024, showcasing Keelung's continued role as a major international trading port in northern Taiwan, recounting its century-long rise and fall, and continuing to unfold its future as a port city, demonstrating its unique history and culture.
